Beaches

Little Brak, Rheebok, Tergniet, Hersham, Great Brak, Outeniqua and Glentana have clean, safe and beautiful beaches. The lifesavers are present during the December and January holidays to ensure that everyone is safe. Rheebok and Tergniet beaches both have tidal pools whilst the rest have no serious rocks, all are swimming beaches.

Nature Reserves
There are various nature reserves which offers hiking, bird watching and picnicking for day visitors.
Fynbos And Flora

All Hiking trails within the area have different species of Fynbos and Flora for the public to view. Indigenous forest is still in the area for all to see. Places such as Botlierskop Game Farm has an eyeful of many species.
Bird Watching

Throughout the area the bird life is abundant especially, near the rivers at places such as Pine Creek Holiday Resort.

Cango Caves

The Cango Caves are a relatively short distance from any of the Great Brak River areas approximately 1½ hours drive.
Marine Life

All beaches throughout the Garden Route are blessed with the Southern Right Whale, dolphins and seals. From July through to November you can quietly sit and admire these magnificent mammals.

Botlierskop Game Farm, has 4 of the Big Five for people to see.
Picnic Spots

Throughout our tranquil scenic area, there are plenty of picnic places, both secluded and areas where facilities are provided. However in areas which do not provide facilities fires are not to be made. Places such as Pine Creek Holiday Resort have facilities directly on the rivers of Great Brak and Little Brak and also provide canoes for a fun filled day at a reasonable price.
